Support For Ukrainian Youth Workers and Trainers in the EU 

The network of SALTO Resource Centres is ready to offer support and meaningful engagement for the Ukrainian youth workers and trainers who have found refuge in the European Union. Details of each engagement will be agreed directly.

The New European Training Strategy Is Published

SALTO Training & Cooperation is proud to present the new European Training Strategy (ETS)! The document offers a strategic framework for the development of youth worker education and training in Europe under the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Programmes.

2nd ETS Conference Took Place in Berlin!
 

During the 2nd ETS conference, held in Berlin from 1-3 March 2022, youth workers, educators, trainers, researchers, policy makers and representatives from the National Agencies reflected on education and training of youth workers and how the ETS can play a part in their work. Learning Experiences of Hybrid, Blended, and Online Mobility Activities


Digitalisation is part of our lives. However, for some, digital learning is actually a barrier to participation rather than an opportunity. In order to document the existing learning experiences and consider the future development of the hybrid, blended and online mobility activities, SALTO Inclusion & Diversity, gathered information about practices, methodologies and experiences.

Learning Playground in Volunteering


We invite hosts, organisers and mentors in European Solidarity Corps volunteering projects to join us in discovering spatial aspects of learning environments, playing with (co)creating empowering learning spaces and exploring their potential in fostering learning. The training course will take place in Budapest, Hungary on 30 May – 4 June 2022.

ID Talks Is Back!
 

Join us for a new edition of the ID Talks on the topic of “Shaping Inclusion and Diversity” – how to implement youth projects that are more inclusive, diverse and reflect the Inclusion & Diversity Strategy. If you want to learn about topics, such as the strategy, outreach, language, locality, and the visibility of projects, join us every other Wednesday, at 1PM CET, from 23 February until 20 April. We connect for about 90 minutes with inspiring guest speakers for thought-provoking insights, discussions in small groups and Q&A.

Podcast: What Are the Challenges of Building Solidarity Over Borders? 


In the most recent "Europe Talks Solidarity" podcast Jekatyerina Dunajeva, assistant professor and researcher shares thoughts about the role that the “borders” play in expanding solidarity across Europe. 
Drawing on the case of the Romani movement, the challenges of shaping an identity across borders are being discussed.

LTA Beyond Borders - Neighbours Together - Kick-off Event!

Study Launch: Meaningful Youth Participation

 

We might be tired of online events but there’s one online event you don't want to miss out on: the launch of the study "Meaningful youth political participation in Europe"!  Join the Youth Partnership on 9 March 11am CET for the conversation on the importance of youth political participation for strengthening democratic societies. The study explores young people’s contemporary engagement in politics, including both conventional and non-conventional channels of participation.
