Survey for Hep C Providers in New York State

Dr. Andy Talal, University of Buffalo and his team is inviting all Hep C treatment providers who prescribe direct acting antiviral treatment to conduct a short online survey about their experiences providing hep C treatment since 2020. The survey is expected to take 5-10 minutes. The survey seeks to understand how telehealth has or has not been incorporated into hep C practice, and opportunities to improve telehealth experiences for patients and providers. The project is IRB approved via the BRANY IRB and Weill Cornell Medicine. New estimates reveal decline in Hep C treatment in the U.S. between 2014-2020

 
This study reported the estimated number of people initiating Hep C treatment with direct acting antiviral agents (DAAs) from 2014 to 2020 in the United States and summarized the characteristics of persons who were treated during that same time period. CDC announced this research via a Dear Colleague Letter at the time of the conference.
