The Brainerd Public Library was established in 1899 and was a founding member of the Kitchigami Regional Library system in 1969. The Library's mission is to bring people, information, and ideas together to enrich lives and build community.

AARP TAX-AIDE APPOINTMENTS

We are currently taking reservations for AARP Tax-Aide Services appointments, to be held at the Westgate Mall. This is a free service provided by volunteers, to taxpayers with low and middle income in Crow Wing County. Call the library at 218-829-5574 to make an appointment.
Federal Tax Forms 1040 & 1040-SR, plus instructions, are currently available at the library. To get the most up-to-date information on forms and filing dates please visit the US department of revenue website and the Minnesota Department of Revenue website.

Treuer is a Professor of Ojibwe at Bemidji State University and the author of many books. His equity, education, and cultural work has put him on a path of service around the region, the nation, and the world. No registration is required. Masks are strongly encouraged.
