Rosie Li is a candidate for Master of Environmental Science at Yale University. She started up studying environmental science and policy at Smith College but ended up as a humanity student in environmental anthropology at Yale School of the Environment.
A Foucauldian at heart, she is fascinated by the city, a place where society and nature, representation and being inseparable and integral to each other. She is currently doing field research in Lower Manhattan Chinatown, trying to understand the contradictions, tensions, and conflicts that might form and shift the identity of Chinese in a community anchored by wet markets.
In addition, Rosie is also an amazing cook, hiker and snorkeler!
