RAINBOW BEACHES - NIPPER CELEBRATION SUNDAY 6TH MARCH


Rainbow Beaches celebrates the power of inclusion and diversity and highlights that everyone is welcome at the beach. It provides an opportunity for Clubs to actively promote the SLS principles of equal opportunity, social justice and cultural safety and a platform for important conversations within our communities.

Due to State Champs there is no nippers this weekend which is a real shame given the Rainbow Event.  As a result the committee decided to do a Patrol focussed event on Sunday and then another event next Sunday 6th for our Nippers so recognition twice.

Coronavirus Updates

The SLSNSW Coronavirus page was updated on Wednesday 23 February. 

Please ensure that you regularly review the SLSNSW Coronavirus webpage and the NSW Health website to keep up-to-date with the latest advice.

As of 23 February 2022, it will be a requirement for any Frontline Volunteer Patrolling activity, Support Operations activity or training, assessing and facilitating activity that the Member must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they have been granted an exemption by SLSNSW in accordance with this policy.

Vaccination must be undertaken on the advice of an accredited health practitioner (including health practitioners at any authorised COVID-19 vaccination centres). All those undertaking these activities will be required to provide evidence acceptable to SLSNSW of being fully vaccinated

Jack Attack is a fun and fast-paced format from the traditional form of lawn bowls, aimed to encourage participation with non-bowling members of the community. Jack Attack is super fun and easy to play!

It is a modified version from the traditional form of lawn bowls, with three players per team who each deliver their bowls within an end, aiming to get as close as possible to the jack. 

It’s all over in 60-75 minutes and then you can enjoy 2 FREE beverages (per person) on the Deck @ Pitty afterwards.
