CIRIEC’s International Scientific Commission “Public Enterprises / Public Services” launched an international comparative research. 6 national reports were drafted along the same structuring topics: National approach to POEs; Impact on transparency and integrity of public intervention; Assessment of national legislation and regulation on corruption prevention mechanisms; Anti-corruption practices in POEs; Empirical findings.
The present e-book features a first batch of country studies from Albania, Austria, Italy, the Republic of North Macedonia, Portugal and Spain. Finalised in spring/summer 2021, those studies might be soon updated and completed by others, in order to widen the territorial coverage.
The CIRIEC STUDIES SERIES proposes research results from working groups and commissions of the CIRIEC's scientific network in both social and cooperative economy and public economy. To facilitate accessibility to the research works, this electronic series is proposed in open access on CIRIEC’s website. Each study is available and downloadable as a whole document but also chapter by chapter.
