Friend,
The Director General of the WHO has said the overwhelming majority of people being admitted to hospital with COVID worldwide are unvaccinated [1].
After being vaccinated, we might still catch COVID, but because our bodies have immune protection, it’s highly unlikely that we’ll have to go to hospital.
The vaccines train our body’s immune systems to fight COVID. Without antibodies against new viruses like COVID we need to get vaccinated or we can be left defenceless. That’s why some unvaccinated people are still getting seriously ill.
That's why it's important to take the vaccine. It might not stop you from getting COVID, but it can save your life.
