Your Annual Commitment-Never to Late to Ignite Your Generosity
This year our theme is Ignite Your Generosity. We are thankful for those who have made their commitment for the coming year. We encourage those who worship in person, and those who live stream, if you have not yet made your commitment please plan to do so soon. We are counting on the entire congregation to be ready for what God has in store for us as we embark on a new and exciting path in the new year.

Social Ministry Update
Spirit of Joy served at Open Door Meals on Valentine's Day. The taco plates provided by the Rogers' Home group was a resounding hit. Church members Marina Martin, Mary Paschke, Karen Dietmeyer, Al Rogers, and William and Christy Serra served meals and fellowship to those in attendance. It was a rewarding evening for all who participated. Our next Open Door obligation is May 9, 2022, and the Youth Group will be providing the meal and serving. Please prayerfully consider coming along to help. We started serving at 6:00 p.m. and were cleaned up and done by 7:15 p.m., so it is an early evening even if you have work or school the next day. If you are interested in helping, please see Randi-Kate or Christy.
Also, if you would like to contribute supplies such as clamshell meal containers, paper/Styrofoam coffee cups, plastic silverware, or napkins, we would very much appreciate the donation. Please bring them to the church or the church office with a note designating them for Open Door.

Youth Ministry Happenings
Youth Group will continue on Sunday's from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at Spirit of Joy Church. 7th-12th graders are invited to join us. I encourage each student to think about bringing one friend along with them to the youth group gathering to share in all of the fun and faith!
The second semester of Confirmation will begin on Sunday, March 27th at 8:30 a.m. before service begins at 9:00 a.m. If a student was doing confirmation in the fall then they must continue for the spring semester to be fully confirmed this year.
I have been in contact with Sonshine Ministries for the annual summer youth trip for our high schoolers! More information will be given to me this coming month. Our dates to be at the lake are Monday June 13th- Saturday, June 18th. We currently have 9 spots available. More information about pricing, deposits, and travel will be given out as soon as possible.
To go along with our summer trip we will be discussing a fundraiser that can be held for the youth in the next couple of months. If you have any suggestions or donations feel free to contact me!
Finally, the youth will be hosting Easter Sunday Breakfast after the service. If you are interested in helping or donating supplies please contact me!

Technology/Website/Audio/Visual Support
Are you interested in computers? IT? Website design? Audio/Visual technology or streaming? Do you know someone else who is? We are looking for someone to help bring our streaming and other technologies into the 21st century. Specific tasks include: learning audio/visual equipment to assist with streaming, providing technical support for those operating and watching the streamed services, updating/revamping the Spirit of Joy website, helping with graphic design for advertisements or other outreach activities.
Office Administration
Do you have a passion for filing, collating copies, or data entry? Do you love seeing a nicely organized office? Help us keep the SOJ admin office in order! We need someone who can help type up bulletins, file papers, update the church directory, and other tasks during the week (or whenever you are free!)
