GLOBE DERBY PARK - SATURDAY 26TH FEBRUARY 2022
Race 1: 2022 SILVER SALVER SA YEARLING SALE MARCH 27 PACE
CELESTIAL DAYBREAK (1) will be very hard to beat from the inside draw. He should be able to find the front early and prove hard to run down.
MARTYS PARTY (8), ROCKNROLL YANKEE (5) and THEBATTLESJUSBEGUN (7) are also chances.
Race 2: HYGAIN REGAIN PACE
BETTOR BEONTOIT (6) is a strong chance of leading from gate six. If he can find a way of hitting the front early he will be very hard to run down.
LEVI JIMMY (5) has been racing consistently recently. He will run a strong race against this field if he gets the right run.
GEORGIE MAE (3) and CLARENDEN ENVOY (7) are also chances.
Race 3: TAB VANUE MODE PACE
CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT (4) should be able to find the lead early. He ran second behind TIDAL SURGE on Monday. If he hits the front early will be hard to beat.
ABSOLUTION (1) is having his second run back from a spell tonight. He should be able to improve off his first run back.
HALF MOON BEACH (3) and SUTTER MAN (5) are also chances.
Race 4: NORTH EAST GROUP CLAIMING PACE
KARMIC FIRE (1) has won two of his last four starts. He returns from a two month break tonight but will appreciate the inside draw. He should have no problems finding the lead early and running a strong race out in front.
CANADA BAY (3) was impressive in his most recent start at Mildura. If he can repeat that effort will be right in the finish.
STAR WRITER (7) and JAKES SPORTWRITER (8) are also chances.
Race 5: ARCLIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY TROTTERS STAND
AUNTY ETHAL (1) has won two of her last three starts impressively. She will run a strong race from the inside position tonight and looks the one to beat.
GHENT (4), BARHOON (5) and WINSOME RUBY (3) are also chances.
Race 6:#CAUGHTBYFISCH TROTTERS MOBILE
MARTENS PRIDE (3) ran fourth behind SUPER ANGUS last start in what was an improvement compared to recent starts. If he can repeat that run tonight will be a major chance.
Race 7: TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE
DEADLINE (4) is a chance of finding the front early. If he does hit the front will be hard to run down against this field.
SUNFINE (6), TENNESSEE MIRACLE (2) and FOREVER BETTOR (9) are also chances.
STRATHALBYN - SUNDAY 27TH FEBRUARY 2022 Race 1:DARREN FORREST HORSE FLOAT SERVICING & REPAIRS PACE
CHEERS POVERTY (6) could possibly have the speed to lead early. If he can move into a forward position from the wide draw, he will be hard to run down at this track.
TURNTHETABLES (1) will run a strong race from the inside draw and looks a strong each way chance.
CLARENDEN LEGACY (5) will be short but is a risk.
FOMO (2) is also a chance.
Race 2: CLEARVIEW SLASHING PACE
ROYAL CADENCE (1) looks like a strong chance from the inside draw but she will need to begin better than she did last start. If at her best she should be too good for this field.
YOUR A SHOCKER (2), NOOSA BEACH (7) and EL COMANDANTE (5) are also chance.
Race 3: 2022 COMMERCIAL HOTEL STRATHALBYN TROTTERS CUP
C K SPUR (5) has a pretty good record from the mobile start and his recent trial effort at Globe Derby against the pacers. He should show some pretty fast early speed. He will be around the mark today.
MASS DESTRUCTION (4) ran a very strong race last week and has a major chance again today.
SUPER ANGUS (1) will run a sneaky race from the inside draw.
MILLYS MAGIC (8) looks the next best.
Race 4: STRATTON EARTHWORKS & DRAINAGE PACE
WHITE STAR PEEJAY (2) returned from a spell and won last start when he defeated ROYAL CADENCE by 1.9 metres. He should be able to lead from gate two and run a very strong race out in front.
CATCH THE SHARK (7) has been racing well but will find it hard from the draw.
MALACHITE ROCK (1) and EASY ROLLING (8) are also chances.
Race 5: 2022 DAISH IRRIGATION & FODDER STRATHALBYN PACING CUP
JIMMY MACK (10) just keeps finding ways to win races. He defeated WRANGLER by a half head last week in the Italian Cup. He will be very hard to beat again today.
MAHARAJAH (1) will run a very strong race from the inside draw.
VAN MARA (8) will need to improve off his recent runs to feature today but if he strikes his best form he will be a major chance.
WRANGLER (6) is working closer to a win.
Race 6: HOPKINS SADDLERY - STAN PETHICK & JOHN MAY MEMORIAL
SPRINGFIELD AFFAIR (1) will appreciate the inside draw. He should have the speed to kick up and hold the lead. He will very hard to run down if he leads early.
ARCO (9), MANONTHEMOON (5) and PICKLE IT (6) are also chances.

The sale features yearlings by last season’s leading first crop sire Always B Miki, champion juvenile sire Art Major, 2021 North American leading first-season sire Downbytheseaside, the NSW Derby winner and Vicbred champion Major Secret and the highly successful American sires A Rocknroll Dance and Sunshine Beach.
Yearlings will be eligible for a two-year-old Sales race in 2023.
An all-age section will immediately follow the yearling sale.
Printed copies of the catalogue will be available for distribution from February 16.
