Following the success of Wednesday's sold out Queering the Canon: Sondheim concert, we are thrilled to announce the artist lineup for the final show in our Series, Queering the Canon: Kander & Ebb!

Directed by: Drewe Goldstein (they/she)
Music Direction by: Dionne McClain-Freeney (she/her)

The cast includes: Lily Ali-Oshatz (she/her), Amara Brady (she/her), Christina Ciofani (she/her), Camille Corinne (they/she), Alanna Darby (she/her), Mollie Downes (she/they), Shani Hadjian (she/they), Marisa Jones (she/her), Vasi Katina (she/her), Selene Klasner (she/her), Achilles Mulkey (he/they), K Paley (they/them), Sarah Muirhead (she/her), Andrea Prestinario (she/her), Pearl Rhein (she/her), and Imani Russell (they/them). 

Songwriters include: Amara Brady (she/her), Joanna Burns (she/her), EllaRose Chary (she/her), Dorie Clark (she/her), Brandon James Gwinn (he/they), Marie Incontrera (she/they), Marisa Jones (she/her), Vasi Katina (she/her), Dionne McClain-Freeney (she/her), T. Carlis Roberts (he/they), and Addie Jean Ulrey (she/her).

Co-founder Andrea Prestinario (she/her) will executive produce, with casting by Emily Tarquin (they/them). Orchestrations by Stephanie Carlin (she/her), stage management by Taylor Jo Poer (she/her), assistant stage management by Gracelyn Shalaski (she/her). Additional creatives include: rehearsal accompanist Nicole D'Angelo (she/they), drummer Kendall Perry (they/them), guitarist/bassist Meghan Rose (she/her), and graphic designer Eddie Shrake (he/him).

The concert will take place at Joe’s Pub on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, 9:30pm EST. Tickets for the livestream via Stellar are available here

All performances in the Queering the Canon series will take place at Joe’s Pub and require proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination AND proof of a booster dose (for those eligible in accordance with CDC guidelines) by the date of attendance for access. Tickets are $25 with a 2 drink or $12 food/beverage minimum and are available here

Queering the Canon Concert Series is made possible in part with funding from NYC Pride Gives Back and public funds from Creative Engagement, supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by LMCC.
