And here it is - Fund8 submissions - with $16M in ada on the line - are now open for all of your ideas to take seed in the fertile ground of Catalyst ecosystem. Entire community is anxiously awaiting what amazing proposals are going to be introduced and moulded over the course of next weeks. And so am I.

Let's ensure we welcome all the new participants with open arms. Let's show them what makes this place special. So that they can set roots and build the future of Cardano with us. We can all help and play a part in doing just that.

Every fund we strive to push the needle of iteration as fast and as much forward as possible. Part of it is listening to you and looking at the priorities. We can't do it all at once. This helps us identify opportunities for maximum impact. And your participation is crucial.

Time to submit draft proposals

The innovation phase of Fund8 is fully under way. It's finally the time to submit your draft proposals. 

This is NOT the time to have your final versions of your proposals just yet. Not worries. There will be plenty of time to finalize these in coming weeks as you start refining your ideas based on the community feedback.

Remember - deadline to submit draft proposals is March 3rd, 2022 at 11:00 UTC. Following, it won't be possible to add more proposals into Fund8. That's when refinement stage begins instead. 

Your proposals can be shared with the community by logging into Ideascale. Press the “Submit Your Idea” orange button with a plus sign and choose the right category. Want to learn more? On this day - February 25 - what would be Phil Chang's birthday - we're saying a final good bye to our dear friend and IOG colleague. Memorial service was held for him earlier today.
