Howdy <<First Name>>!

As you know, there are many ways and opportunities to connect with and help local Agriculture.  Today, we bring you a quick, sweet way to get involved!

By baking!

Before you start thinking that VC-CWA might have lost its agricultural focus, please revisit this more serious call to action and remember that our goal remains to educate and advocate:

If I may paraphrase a little Ronald Reagan, "Ventura County Agriculture, as we know it, is never more than a generation away from extinction..." And that is why VC-CWA is here, and counts on you to stay connected, educated, and committed.

But today, we hope that commitment will be sweet!

Can you bake cookies for the Spray Safe event on March 22?

We expect about 500 local agriculture professionals to attend this year's Spray Safe event at the Fairgrounds.  Each of them will receive a SWAG Bag of goodies, and along with those bags, we would like to hand each of them a little ziploc bag containing a couple yummy, homemade cookies, with a VC-CWA information card attached.

Can you bake a few dozen of your favorite cookies to donate to the cause?  If you can, that would be fabulous - if you're not able to bring the cookies to us, we can pick them up.

Further, would you like to be a part of a fun  "Let's get together for a couple hours and assemble those cookie bags" gathering?  If so, please let us know.  No, we don't know yet exactly when or where this might take place, but probably sometime between March 18 and 21, so that we will have nice, fresh cookies to give away.

If baking might be up your alley, please click here to email us and let us know - thank you!
