We just had our 16th Academic WorldQuest this Saturday. If you are a teacher who brought a team this week, know that we are thankful as we understand you have so many things to handle at this time. Congratulations to the winner of the competition Bishop Seabury Academy but also to each of the teams who participated this year.

CONGRATULATIONS To ALL AWQ 2022 Winners
The winner of the competition was Bishop Seabury Academy Team A. The team members were Josie Kim, Hugh Griggs, Xiang Zhang, and Hayden Slough. The second Runner up was The Barstow High School Team C. This team consisted of Avani Lakkireddy, Liane Bdair, Jack Cuezze, and Paranjay Shama. Finally, the third runner up was Bishop Academy Team C. The team members were Marie Brockhoff, Will Hedges, Katie Eckert, and Darby Harris. Bishop Seabury Academy Team's Teacher Sponsor was Sonja Czarnecki and the Team Teacher Sponsor of Barstow was Angela Guldin.

International Film Club: Queen (India)
The International Relations Council's International Film Club explores international realities and global issues using films of the world and about the world. Queen is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film that follows the story of Rani Mehra, a diffident Punjabi girl from New Delhi who embarks on her honeymoon to Paris and Amsterdam by herself after her fiancé calls off their wedding. Please join us tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. CT via zoom.
 
Will China Rule the World? In-Person Event 
This special lecture program by the distinguished diplomat and former British Ambassador to China, Sir Christopher Hum, is brought to Kansas City in partnership with The English-Speaking Union of Kansas City. Diplomacy Classroom: World Water Day 
For the World Water Day, Diplomacy Classroom will be joined by the Department of State’s Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs’ Tess Ericson. She will help the National Museum of American Diplomacy explore the importance and complexities of freshwater as a resource and global issue. Diplomacy Classroom: World Water Day will be live-streamed on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, 1:00-1:45 pm EDT here on this web page.

2022 CHANGEMAKER CHALLANGE
T-Mobile, the T-Mobile Foundation and Ashoka are having the fourth Changemaker Challenge. Now through March 31, 2022, teens ages 13 to 18 located in the U.S. and Puerto Rico with bold ideas for driving digital empowerment, putting equity into action and mobilizing for a thriving planet can enter the Changemaker Challenge online. Please click here to learn more and apply.
