"Say Something" Sandy Hook Promise
Students are asked to create a profile on the Sandy Hook Promise Learning website and watch the Say Something Core video. The purpose of the video is to build awareness about the signs that signal potential threating behavior and what students can do when they recognize those signs. The video runs about 30 minutes. All students, including seniors, should complete the task. The website and instructions follow.
Instructions:
Register on the Sandy Hook Promise website, https://www.sandyhookpromiselearning.org/student-register/361365 .. Student usernames will be the first name and the first two letters of the last name. For example, if the student’s name is Mary Rogers, then the username would be Mary Ro. The password to enter the site is Patience.
Login.
Go to your dashboard and view the Say Something Core video.

PCR COVID-19 Testing at DeBakey HSHP
DeBakey HSHP campus will be offering Free PCR CoVID-19 Testing for our students on Friday, March 11, 2022. Testing will be every two weeks.
This testing program is completely voluntary and requires the student’s parent/guardian to first provide a one-time consent by completing a digital consent form available on this website: https://bit.ly/HISDC19Test
Once you have completed the consent form, please send an email to Ms. Whiting: mwhiting@houstonisd.org to add your child to the list to test for that test date. The email should be sent to Ms. Whiting no later than the Wednesday before the Friday scheduled testing date.
Feminine Hygiene Products Drive
We are still accepting donations for feminine hygiene products. The donation boxes can be found in the front office, nurse's office, library, counselor's office and administrative offices.
