Free Income Tax Assistance
If you need assistance preparing your tax returns, there are several ways to get free local help. Free Tax Prep LA hosts several Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinics throughout the region. Find more information here.
Additionally, California State University, Northridge (CSUN) hosts its own VITA clinic at Las Palmas Park on Mondays and Fridays 1 to 4 p.m., and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The CSUN VITA clinics are accepting appointments. Click herefor more information.
The Van Nuys Branch Library hosts free tax preparation help through the AARP Tax Aide program Monday through Thursday 12 to 3 p.m. No appointments are necessary.
