Worship With Us

This week's message - Lord’s Prayer: How To Start Praying

According to national surveys, most of us pray at least sometimes. But if we’re honest, many of us aren’t exactly sure we’re doing it ‘right.’ We sense that there must be more to prayer than just asking God for stuff, but we’re not sure where to begin. So how *should* we pray? In our sermon series on The Lord’s Prayer, we’re exploring how Jesus answered that question and the difference it makes when we learn to pray like Jesus. Today we’ll focus on how Jesus teaches us to begin our prayers and why that matters.

Join us for in-person worship today at 10 am in the AMC Classic Durham, or watch online worship by following the link below. Take Kindred on the go by downloading the Sermon Podcast on Apple or Spotify. However you choose to join in, we are glad to be worshiping together with you!

Covid Safety Update: While mask mandates are now being lifted in many local contexts, we will continue to remain masked during Kindred worship for the time being. We are monitoring local covid conditions in consultation with local health officials and will share future updates to our mask policy when we have them. For now, if you worship with us in person, please remain masked while indoors (small children exempt, of course). Thanks for your cooperation and patience.

Feeding Our Neighbors

Thank you for helping Kindred feed 150+ people!

Last month, Kindred partnered with Urban Ministries of Durham to provide a hot dinner to about 160 of their residents and clients who might not otherwise have had one. To those who baked pasta, bought food, or bought supplies, thank you! Special thanks to Cole Justad and Brad Allen. This was a wonderful way to embody the love of Christ, and we look forward to doing it again.

Stay tuned in the weeks ahead for details about our non-perishable food drive for Urban Ministries that will take place at in-person worship on Sunday, April 10th.
