SB1709 ... This is a HORRIFIC BILL!!!
Basically, it removes laws from state statutes and gives the OK Dept of Wildlife authority to put a huge amount into their RULES. Why would a legislator want to grant a bureaucracy, that has a proven track record of abuse, with so much more authority??
The bill is an assault on our private property rights and Second Amendment rights. It repeal's shooting feral hogs from aircraft that OK2A worked to pass years ago. It puts the ODWC in control over what fish you put on, raise and catch on your own private property.
SB1709 is scheduled to be heard in Senate Ag and Wildlife Committee Monday at 10 am
