Indiana’s economic future is bright, and that’s primarily thanks to Democrats. Democrats passed the American Rescue Plan and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which will help countless Hoosier families.
The Indiana Democratic Party will celebrate Hoosier economic success all around the state on the Jobs Tour, stopping in Bloomington at 6:30 PM on March 8th at Switchyard Brewing Company.
Jon Hooker, a leader of the state party's labor caucus and a representative of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and Destiny Scott Wells, Indiana Secretary of State candidate, will be speaking along with other featured guests, including Indiana Democratic Party Deputy Chair for Cities and Towns and Bloomington City Clerk Nicole Bolden and Monroe County Democratic Party Chair David G. Henry.
Check out the event on Facebook — RSVP and invite your friends!

In-Kind Donations
As we come back from COVID-19, we are no different than any business or non-profit that shuttered for a year, and seek in-kind contributions.
Whether moldering in your basement or something on the way out of your place of business, we hope your trash could be our treasure.
If you have items below that you are willing to donate, please contact MCDP Chair David Henry at chair@monroedems.org. Have some ideas on what we could use? Share with David too.

Thank you to our Four Freedoms Circle donors who contribute monthly to MCDP! In January 1941, President Franklin D. Roosevelt first spoke of the FOUR FREEDOMS in his state of the Union address. He proposed four fundamental freedoms that people everywhere in the world should enjoy: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Worship, Freedom From Want, and Freedom From Fear. Our belief in the Four Freedoms is fundamental to our identity as Democrats. In much the same way, our sustaining donors – those who choose to support the Monroe County Democratic Party through ongoing, monthly gifts – are fundamental to the work we do every single day. When you choose to make monthly gifts through ActBlue, our online giving portal, you provide critical support for the infrastructure, space, and staff on which we rely in all our work.
