200 Club Newsletter

Welcome to the March 2022 edition of the 200 Club Newsletter. Each month I will provide you, the members of the 200 Club, with an update on winners, money raised, and any other relevant news.

Thank you for your continued financial support of the parish.

Membership drive

Since our appeal at the end of November we have now had an extraordinary total of 127 new entries purchased, either by existing members taking additional numbers, or by new members joining for the first time.

This incredible generosity will generate more than £7,163 in additional funds for the parish buildings and grounds this year alone. We still have pledges of additional entries to be taken out soon which will add to this figure.

Thank you to everyone who has increased their contribution recently, and to all of you who continue to play every month.

February Draw

There were three £100 prizes in February. The lucky winners were Ann Duncan, Joseph McLaughlin, and Vincent Smith.

There will be five (yes five) £100 prizes in March's special Easter draw which will be made in the first week of April. (See below for more information.)

Christmas every day!

As I explained last month, as a result of the incredible response to our recruitment drive, we now have more entries than ever, exceeding the previous 200 entry maximum. In order to ensure that members' chances of winning a prize are not reduced, additional prizes will be introduced throughout the year in order to ensure that the same proportion of revenue is paid out in prizes as ever.

The first of these bonus prizes will be drawn next month when we will have a special Easter draw with five £100 prizes, rather than the usual three, just like we do at Christmas.

Any new members who join and make their payment on or before the 31st of March will be eligible for the special draw, so if you know anyone who would like to join, or if you would like to take out an additional entry, this is the perfect opportunity!

They heard it through the grapevine...

Thank you very much indeed to the kind member who was able to get in touch with the mystery member who I had no contact information for. They subsequently contacted me, and now if they win a prize I will actually be able to notify them and pay them their money.

All members are politely reminded to please make sure that they register their contact information on the parish website her e, and keep it up to date with any changes. It makes my life a great deal easier. Thank you!

Monthly results

There were 224 paid entries in February generating a projected annual profit of £9,180.
Our actual profit for the month was £724.
We have generated a total of £2,140 for the parish funds so far in 2022.

Join or take out an additional entry

Now that there are no limits to the number of entries we can accept (see above) we can welcome any new members who wish to join. If you know someone who would like to join the 200 Club you can find full instructions on the parish website here. If you would like to take out an additional entry just amend your standing order accordingly and contact me to let me know.
