Hi Friend,

We've got several important member updates for you - Open Studio, Member Night next week, and a request for community feedback regarding Generator's masking policy.

GENERATOR 'OPEN STUDIO'

As a Generator member, you've taken it upon yourself to complete the required trainings necessary to use certain shop spaces and tools, right?

But what if you're certified to use a space or tool, and could use additional feedback, support, or expertise to feel comfortable tackling your next project or making full use of the spaces and tools you're certified to use?

Or maybe you just wanna spend more time with our super knowledgeable community and you're curious about shops or tools that are new to you?

This is where Generator's new 'Open Studio' sessions come in:

Monthly, FREE, tool & shop specific offerings hosted by our Volunteer Shop Leads, available to ALL members, regardless of skill level.

Upcoming 'Open Studio' Offerings:

March 15th - Laser Cutter and Adobe Illustrator
March 16th - Sewing
March 27th - Jewelry
April 7th - Electronics

COMMUNITY FEEDBACK!

Burlington's City Council voted unanimously to allow the indoor mask mandate to expire today, March 3rd. The CDC no longer recommends that masking indoors is necessary for Chittenden County. With these changes in guidance in mind, we are considering whether to lift Generator's indoor masking requirement and need your input! Regardless of when Generator's masking guidelines change, we will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our community.
