March has arrived, but don’t be fooled by the recent mild temperatures, some of the best skiing this season is still to come! Not to mention the benefit of longer days and more time basking in the sun together out on the front deck. We have another bustling weekend ahead as our little and big Devil’s fight their way down the hill in our annual Club Championships.

DEVIL YOU KNOW
This Thursday, you can expect most terrain open for your enjoyment with both the Hades and Heavenly quads running along with the Magic Carpet.
Men’s Day is this Friday, so only event ticket-holders can enjoy the Club for the day and it’s a big RACE Weekend with Club Championships galore! All lifts and terrain will be open and in prime condition.
The Recreational Trails also continue to be in great shape and will be freshly groomed prior to the weekend. Get out and enjoy the awesome mid-season conditions!

BUSINESS OF THE CLUB
Board Nominations 2022 – If you are interested in joining the Board of Directors, please reach out to the Club at info@devilsglen.com and we will connect you with our Nominations Committee Chair. The commitment is for 3 years beginning in October 2022. The Nominating Committee will consider all applications and choose new Directors whose skills are most needed to complement the existing Board. We look forward to hearing from you.

SIGNIFICANT DIGITS
Freestyle Ontario held their U18 Provincial Timber Tour at Horseshoe Resort this past weekend and Devil’s Glens own Kieran Naudie killed it! Kieran finished in 2nd place on (Feb 26th) and 1st place on (Feb 27th). Way to go Kieran, your Devil’s Glen family is proud of you!

And the fun never stops, here is the plan for this coming weekend:
YOGA – 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. – Sign up for your yoga with Lindsay. Bring your own mat and join her in the River Styx Room. Contact the office to secure your spot - $15 per person, per class.
Friday, March 4th – THE RETURN of MEN’S DAY – With the sun shining, the keg tapped and the conditions awesome, this is going to be a great event!

If you haven’t yet purchased your tickets, there are still some available. Go to Member Central, “Events.” Please remember that provincial COVID protocols are still in place. MASKS must be worn at all times while walking around the lodge, in line up for the cafeteria and bar. You may remove them when seated to eat and drink. ***Please note that all ticket sales are final, event tickets are non-refundable***
Saturday, March 5th and Sunday, March 6th – Club Championship weekend – be sure to get hillside to cheer on your favourite racers! From race course to main course, Saturday will conclude with the Alpine Programs Banquet and close of the Silent Auction.

FEATURE TAP - This week featured brew on tap is Thornbury Hazy IPA - a full bodied, lightly hazy IPA with enticing tropical and floral aromas, with a smooth bitter finish.
FRIDAY, MARCH 11th – Friday Night Family Dinner presenting Creemore Springs Brewery – Upon arrival, Drew Main, Certified Cicerone and Prud’homme Certified Master Beer Sommelier from Creemore will introduce the offerings to be tasted with professionally paired dishes from Chef Jim. DUCT TAPE
Testing...testing...is this thing on? Alpine Programs is looking for volunteer announcers to work the mic at upcoming races this season.
