Join us at Jurupa Mountains Discovery Center's S.T.E.A.M Station on, Saturday, March 12th & Sunday, March 13th as we celebrate National Plant a Flower Day with some creative fun. Each guest will receive a ceramic dinosaur pot, soil, and seeds for $7.50 a set.

We are seeking individuals from all walks of life to discover the opportunities found at JMDC. Volunteer Interpreters can be found guiding explorers on learning expeditions through JMDC’s exhibits, gardens, animals, and more.

Jurupa Mountains Discovery Center Critter Corner is home to many critters, including Mr. and Mrs. Root Beer and their family. They all reside comfortably and at home in our Critter Corner. They are root-beerish (dark brown to black) in color and can reach up to 3 inches in length, from front to back. They can also weigh up to 25 grams. This critter is native to Madagascar, an island nation off the southeastern coast of Africa. Let’s learn more about these fascinating critters.
