A longer than normal newsletter this week...please bear with me

I hope those of you who were away enjoyed a restful half term last week and all of you survived Eunice's visit without too much disruption. We lost a few large branches only and our potted Christmas tree took a tumble, but it is back on it's feet again now, as I hope you are!

BUILDING WORK IS OVER!!
Some of you may have spotted that our building work has now finished. The scaffolding is down, the skip has gone and there are no work people on site - other than me!! I am delighted that this chapter is now over and we can live a life without too many disruptions again. Thank you all so much for bearing with us during this time.

COLLECTION TIMES / COLLECTION BOX / WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE

As it was quieter last week I took the opportunity to trial a morning bake which I found worked really well. I realise it may have confused a few of you but I think we got there in the end! Going forward I am aiming to move to a morning bake. Depending on demand I anticipate all bakes being ready for Thursday's from 9:30-10:30 am. Interested in this as an option? Drop me a line when you place your order if this would work better for you  - or alternatively there is the 5-7pm window or the collection box by the side of my house if this would work better for you.

When you arrive to collect your order please remember to call me on my phone - not the doorbell to the main house as I work from the Bread Shed  at the bottom of the garden.

ON THE MENU THIS WEEK

We have Country Sourdough, Rye, Maltster, Hazelnut and Sultana Sourdough - plus Semlor - with a limited Special Offer.

Check here for more details on what's available this week.

Order by 9pm Tuesday to allow me time to prepare for Thursday..

OLD ISLEWORTH MARKET / REAL BREAD WEEK

Starts back next Saturday 26th 10-2pm - next weekend - let's pray for good weather!. I will be there with my stall and a whole heap of bakes. There will be cheese, fudge, curry, cake, live music, as well as craft stalls. And we have a theme of Come as a Book Character....watch this space!
Today marks the beginning of Real Bread Week the annual international celebration of additive free loaves and the people who make them. This year's focus is on encouraging people to get involved in baking. I will be offering bread kits at Old Isleworth Market to help you get your bake on!

BREADMAKING CLASSES
I have added more dates for classes and will be adding more this week. Please take a look if you are interested in joining any /https://dalybread.co.uk/book-a-class/

GRANT SUCCESS / BAKER'S HELP / WEBSITE CHANGES

I was recently awarded a grant from Hounslow Council to assist me to develop my business post pandemic which I am really delighted about. I  am on the lookout for someone to assist me with a few projects that I am working on at present and also support before and during market days. If you, or someone you know may be interested, please get in touch for more details. I anticipate 6-8 paid hours paid work a week.
I am sure some of you will be pleased to learn that I plan to overhaul my website to make it easier to navigate. I am currently working with a local web designer to make changes

As always I look forward to baking for you!
