Town Advisory Committee Unanimously approves SSCC Warrants!

Following last week's Selectboard's unanimous support, the SSCC received unanimous Advisory Committee (Finance Committee) support for an $8mm Warrant Article to build a new Town Pool at the SSCC, with all parties also supporting the completion of the SSCC Maintenance Facility! (See Town Warrant Articles P, Q, N here).

This is great news as we celebrate the Club's 100th Anniversary. 

The pool article is being proposed as excluded debt financing which will require a 2/3 vote at Town Meeting, in addition to a ballot box vote. 

Although scheduled for Monday April 25, the Town is working with the Commonwealth to move the date to accommodate an outdoor meeting at Hingham High on Saturday, April 30 followed by the town election and ballot vote.
