hello there <<First Name>>!!! I’m coming back!!!

Not yet, but soon…

In the meantime I wanted to check in about life, upcoming classes and workshops

Today I am in Florida with my mom. It’s her 84th birthday. She just had her knee replaced and has a 90 yr old husband who is deaf, blind and dealing with dementia. There’s a lot going on down here! I dusted off my nursing cap and I’m hoping to help keep them both straight while she recovers.

It’s funny. My dad died 30 years ago. When my mom married again, I didn’t really think about how I might need to care for them both one day. Her husband has a daughter, but that one isn’t really dialed into the situation. Ahh well, I’m glad life has allowed me to be here.

Winter has found me primarily attending to family concerns. We welcomed a new angel to our family in January. I was able to be in the delivery room to witness her very unusual birth! Like 1 in 80,000 unusual!

Our little Elizabeth was born “en caul” within an intact amniotic sac. It’s what they call a mermaid birth. It is so rare that many OB doctors spend entire careers without ever experiencing this. Of course, we already knew she was one in a million!

How about those chubby cheeks? I’m in Mimi heaven for the 4th time! Life is good. I hope you are feeling the same…❤️

While I have a moment, I thought I’d reach out and fill you in on classes and plans for this spring.

Classes with me…Rebecca Z

I will begin teaching group watercolor classes again regularly in March. We concentrate on watercolor techniques with occasional mixed media thrown in to spice things up.

I offer 4 classes per month on Thursday afternoons from 1-4 pm. All levels are welcome.

I charge by the month or by the class. Every new month begins a new package. If you know you can come every week, then purchasing a package will get you the best price. My first class in March will be on March 10th, 2022.
