New report: Hydrogen, electrofuels & CCUS in a Nordic context

The new report Hydrogen, electrofuels, CCUS in a Nordic context highlights extensive efforts in all Nordic countries to further the use of hydrogen, electrofuels as well as CCUS (carbon capture use and storage) to reduce CO2 emissions.
The report presents challenges, conditions, and opportunities, as well as how the Nordic countries can strengthen innovative technologies in the coming years.

Visit from Scotland

Kersti Berge, the Scottish Director for Energy and Climate Change, visited Nordic Energy Research to explore future co-operation on green energy solutions. Among other topics, "Energy solutions for islands & remote areas” and "How to decarbonize the maritime sector" were discussed at the meeting.

Seminar: The first results were presented

On Friday the 18th of February the results from WP1 – Bioenergy and links to agriculture & LULUCF in a Nordic context were presented.
The results are the first of a series of results in the Nordic Energy Outlooks – The Nordic Energy systems programme (NEOs).
About 40 participants from the researcher community and other interested parties took part in the seminar, which was arranged by SINTEF energy Research.
