Thank You

Thank you Kehoe-France Northshore for supporting James Samaritan through their 2022 Tennis Tournament. Thank you student council for choosing our youth to support! Thank you KF staff and organizers, players, sponsors, donors, Pelican Athletic Club (PAC), volunteers, and God for providing the most beautiful day ever! It takes a village. We appreciate you being one on behalf of our youth.

Welcome to the Team!

In addition to her work, Kelly serves on the worship team at First Monroe Baptist Church where she and her family attend. She deeply values her faith and desires to share the love of Jesus through ministering to children and families in the community.  We are happy to have you on our team.
Since January 1 we have been busing fulfilling needs in our community.  We never want to see anyone fall through the cracks.
We were able to provide 1 bunk bed, 11 mattresses, 5 beds, 3 toddler beds, 1 infant bed, help 3 people with utility bill and provide a refrigerator to a youth in the dorm.

Special thanks to Eddie Tourelles Northpark Nissan for their continued support of youth in transition.  It is with strong community connections and partnerships that we are able to help these young people.
We have given 7 vehicles to youth in transition since we've started this program.
If anyone has a vehicle or knows someone with a vehicle that they are wanting to get rid of, please consider donating to a youth in transition.  We are currently in need of a truck for a bigger youth. Please email us if you would like to get involved.

Sneak Peak: The Bishop is coming to town y'all! Save the Date for James Samaritan's 2nd Annual State of Our Children Breakfast on June 16th, 7-9am at St. Paul's Briggs Auditorium. He is one of our powerful speakers this year.
A miracle happened in a small town. It all started with one woman's prayer, and her YES. Then, God gave her His YES. This encounter led to over 70 kids adopted out of the foster care system from ONE church, ONE small unincorporated town, and it started a national movement. Bishop W.C. Martin will impart something only God can in St. Tammany on June 16th. You will want to be there.
Save the Date. More info to come.
Who is Bishop, his wife, and church who all said YES to God? Check it out!

The greatest resource for any youth is one caring and committed adult who becomes a bridge to a strong community. Without being super intentional, these relationships simply don't happen. Connection is key - it is critical.
Launching in March in Northern Louisiana and in June in Southern Louisiana!
