Hi <<First Name>>! Welcome to AP's February newsletter

The Agency for Peacebuilding considers Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is an act of aggression that must be condemned. We are close to all who are targeted by this war and we continue our daily work to repudiate war and build concrete alternatives for peace.
As fighting escalates, strong diplomatic action can still lead to de-escalation. The international community must keep channels of dialogue open even as sanctions are rightfully in place. Under the coordination of the United Nations, it must also proceed with the appointment of a
mediator, an envoy of the highest level trusted by all the parties in conflict.

On May 3, 4 and 5, 2022, AP will host the
Bologna Peacebuilding Forum, a major annual gathering fostering open and constructive dialogue on key issues and challenges facing peacebuilding. Please, save the date for our annual event!

We are also very pleased to announce that AP has recently joined the
Global Coalition on Youth, Peace and Security, the leading platform for shaping global policy and practice on youth, peace, and security.

The second good news is that our organization is growing, two
new Senior Advisors have joined our team, Emiliano Alessandri and Hashim Pondeza, two great assets we are very proud of.
