Fraser River Sedimentation Presentation
Discussion
The Town Board received a presentation from a Colorado Parks and Wildlife fisheries biologist about the economic and community impact of fishing in the Fraser River, how open space and riparian areas contribute to the health of the Fraser River and the importance of diverse species to the fisheries' health. In particular, Sculpin distribution is important to fisheries and that can be affected by increased sedimentation. There have been multiple sedimentation events from construction projects and other sources along the Fraser River in recent years.

Middle Park Medical Center Update
Discussion
The Town Board received a presentation from the Middle Park Medical Foundation about the Fraser Medical Campus planned for construction in Fraser. The facility will provide the first 24/7 emergency department in east Grand County and will health care throughout the county by improving local care. It will also provide economic support to the community through job creation and keeping money in the community. The project will primarily be funded through the USDA, and with funding from Middle Park Health and other partners. The Foundation is launching a capital campaign to cover remaining costs.

Public Hearing: Waldron Minor Subdivision & Conditional Use Permit
Discussion & Action
The Town Board a request from the applicant to continue a public hearing for the Waldron Minor Subdivision and Conditional Use Permit to the April 6 meeting to ensure that neighbors receive notice of the hearing with adequate time to comment.

Ordinance 486: Criminal Penalties
Discussion & Action
The Town Board approved an ordinance reducing the maximum fines in Fraser Municipal Court to $1000 from $2650, to be in alignment with Colorado State Statute.
