Time to work with our liver


You don't have to lighten the load for your liver at exactly 22 minutes, 22 seconds past 22 o'clock on the 22 of February '22, but during spring is recommended.

As we follow the seasons and their great changes in weather and growth, we also connect to our different emotions and the organs that deal with them.

In the spring, at beginning of the years' seasons, so it is with our body coming out if its least active period, and starting a similar cycle all over again.

Any groundwork you do now will have a positive impact for growth and health for the whole year, just as it is in preparing a garden or field for sowing. The benefits will be there to reap when you need them as we become more and more active towards the summer.

The Liver is our blood filter and regulator. To desludge it and get it in peak working order we can practise Qigong exercises and Meditations as well as eating some of the right foods and avoiding others. Not only will this physically stimulate you, it will also help in dissolving negative emotions of anger, frustration and stress that can get stuck there, especially feelings that keep coming back or are there for a long time.

These are feelings that are very much part of modern life, getting help in letting go of blocked negative emotions like stress will give freedom of being lead by our emotions.

Learning to let Qi (or life-force energy) flow smoothly gives us the benefits of good health, in our body and mind.
