Happy Easter! I pray your resurrection weekend was life-giving and profitable as you meditated on the victory of Christ. This month we had the privilege of graduating our second class of pastors from the Terebinth Ministries School of Discipleship. The twenty-one men who graduated our program have studied through every verse and chapter of the Bible, laboring for three years (actually four due to COVID) to understand how to rightly divide the word of truth. Having studied the Bible for three years, these men are now among the most knowledgable and Biblically grounded pastors in Northern Uganda. Still we know that the true test of a minister is not in the classroom, but in their day to day and year to year application of the truth. Please pray for these pastors, that they would fight the good fight, and run their race with endurance. Pray that they would not grow weary in doing good. Pray that they would do all it takes to stand, and having done all, that they would stand against the attacks of the enemy.

Apart from the graduation, my last few months have been occupied with my trip to India, construction on the community house, trying to start a fish project (I'll have more on this once I get it up and running), developing teacher's guides, and teaching at pastors conferences, branch churches, and home fellowships. God has also continued to bless me with opportunities to build relationships with my neighbors and church community through many avenues, including running the praise and worship team at the church. Lord willing, one of the members of the worship team will be taking over leadership of it soon. This month we also began the new class of pastors. After nearly six months of interviews and home visits, we have about fifty pastors who will study with us over the next three years. Please keep these men in your prayers as you pray for me and the ministry. Methods, systems, and Biblical training are great, but at the end of the day it is the work of the Spirit in and through these men that will bear fruit. I had to laugh as Fred and Faith got to experience what it's like to be a tourist attraction themselves. Everywhere we went people were stopping us to take pictures with them.

P.S. I am planning to take a trip back to the States this summer, and should be arriving at the beginning of June. I will have more details about this trip in my next update.
