Army Reserve Ministry Update
Greetings Church family!
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend the Army Instructor Course at Fort Jackson, SC. This two week course is designed to prepare new faculty to teach, train, and facilitate learning in adult educational environments. Our class was composed of Soldiers of various ranks from a variety of units including medics and drill sergeants. During class time we studied a variety of learning and teaching models, classroom management techniques, how to build learning objectives, lesson plans, and characteristics of effective communication. One of the most beneficial parts of the course was getting the opportunity to practice different methods of teaching and receive feedback from instructors and fellow students. There were abundant opportunities during this course to receive constructive criticism which I know will help me to improve as a teacher and preacher for Jesus sake. Again, I am grateful for your support and look forward to sharing more as my new assignment at the Chaplain school begins.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
TABLE TALK
Be sure to join us each Wednesday for Table Talk, a ministry of fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. We begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center with a catered dinner. The cost for that is $9 per person with a family limit of $25. After supper we have our time of teaching including classes for the different ages of our children. We conclude the night with prayer. Don't miss these valuable and enjoyable times together.

July 25-29 is the time for the 2022 Southeastern Presbyterian Middle School Conference at Ridge Haven put on by Woodruff Road Presbyterian Church.
