Ecclesiastes 4:9

Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor; 10for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up! 11Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? 12And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.

Prayer Requests:
  • Bri Rainey's husband, Chris is deployed. She is requesting prayers for an unspoken and safety for Chris.
  • Kathryn Sanchez's husband Paul's Aunt Marie has passed. Please continue to pray for the family and safe travels.
  • Please pray for Mike Young's mom, Jean Young and my sister Debbie. My mom just celebrated her 89th birthday, which is a praise, but she has very limited mobility after breaking both hips over the past few years. She also lacks the motivation to exercise and get stronger so she can get around a little better. All of this of course puts more work on my sister who took her in and cares for her 24/7. I think both are also suffering from depression as a result.
  •  A friend of Mike and Jan Young has a daughter (unnamed) in middle school that is the victim of bullying. The bullying has escalated in recent weeks and her mother would appreciate our prayers. I’m sure her daughter isn’t the only one who is a victim of bullying in our schools, so let’s pray for all who are in that situation in our community as well as others.
  • A friend and former co-worker of Mike's has an elderly neighbor (Joey) that was badly burned a couple of weeks ago. We’ve prayed for him the last couple of weeks. He is still in the burn unit at Chapel Hill but is declining rapidly. Some pre-existing health conditions are preventing the doctors from being able to care for him as they need to.
