"River Life" Collection Debuts June, 2022

Excitement is building for the debut of my new collection of encaustic paintings titled, "River Life," scheduled to be released June, 2022. The collection will be exhibited at Allure Art Center  in White Stone, Virginia, for the month of June. The Gallery is located in a beautiful river town near the Chesapeake Bay about three hours southeast of DC. I've had the pleasure of visiting a dear friend who moved recently to this quaint town along the Corrotoman River, and I instantly fell in love with the scenery.  Inspired by what I witnessed, this collection contains 15 mid to large-format landscapes centered around the theme of living on the water's edge. The collection will debut in the June newsletter.  Anyone interested in purchasing a painting will have the opportunity to contact the gallery directly.

ArtistCloseUp.com Interview

I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by ArtistCloseUp.com, a popular online art magazine. Here are a few questions that I answer in the interview:

"What is your background and how did you start your journey in the art world?"
"What inspires you?"
"What themes do you pursue?"
"Is there an underlying message in your work?"
"What is an artist’s role in society and how do you see that evolving?"
