Next Meeting: March 17th.   2022

We are LIVE at a NEW TIME 6:30 PM

Back in the Greater Plymouth Community Center
COVID has changed our starting time

The time has finally come.  YAAAA!!    At least for now, we are back live at the Greater Plymouth Community Center.  We are all looking forward to seeing old friends, making new ones, and seeing an actual LIVE Speaker.

One More Thing -- At least until the GPCC extends its hours, we must start at 6:30 PM to run our full program.  Please be on time so we can take care of dues collections before the meeting gets rolling.

March's Speaker - Tim Flagler

Night time Fly fishing.

We are extremely pleased to announce the return of the great Tim Flagler of Tightline Productions! You know Tim from his many online tying videos.  Some of the best in the industry! Tim will be providing us a presentation on fishing after dark. At certain times of the year, fishing after the sun goes down can be spectacular and the chances of hooking into a monster are better than any other part of the day. Fishing in the dark does take some getting used to, but with a few tricks, some basic equipment, and minor modifications to technique, it can be an absolute blast. The presentation will include a wealth of video shot recently and over the last couple of years and yes, it includes plenty of big fish.

Zoom Meeting Alternative

Fall meetings will also be available on the Zoom.

Paid members will receive an email invitation several days before the Zoom meeting.  Mike Pellegrino, our Vice President and Zoom Czar, will provide you with the zoom link  and instructions to sign on.   Members who paid dues this year will be sent the link and instructions.  If you have not yet paid your 2021 / 2022 dues be sure to join.  Our monthly meetings are held the third Thursday of the month and are now starting at 6;30 PM Eastern Time from September through June.

Learn to Fish Day at Resica Falls

Learn-to-fish day has a  full day of instruction from the basics to advanced. We also provide lunch for clients and club members.   The class starts with basics and then covers techniques for dries, wet flies and nymph fishing.  In addition, the club provides casting demonstrations and individualized casting instruction for members and participants.  The casting lessons have become one of the  most valuable parts of the class for new fly fisherman.  Instructors can correct casting errors and discuss with you any problems in your  tackle that will interfere with success.
