CBS NEWS Chose NOT to Include PRIE
PRIE spokesperson,  Gallagher was interviewed by a CBS producer for a discussion about the Florida Parents' Rights In Education Bill. Never heard back... WHY?
When Gallagher explained PRIE is not specifically against LGBTQ+ citizens, but fighting FOR Parents' Rights, she said, " Your organization is not at all what I expected. My perception of groups like yours is they are hate groups, and bigots." 

Florida Parental Rights In Education Bills Deserved PRIE's Input 

February 9, 2022, Jessica Opatich Associate Producer | Booking, contacted Suzanne Gallagher for a preliminary interview. Opatich stated, "I'm a producer with CBS National News and we're interested in reporting on the Parental Rights in Education bills in the Florida House and Senate. 

I understand PRIE is a leading organization advocating for parent's rights to guide the education of their children. I'm hoping I can connect with a member of your communications team or leadership team to see who the best person might be to interview on this matter. 

We're still figuring out timing/logistics but looking at taping some point next week."

Lengthy Interview Shocked CBS Producer

Gallagher responded immediately and scheduled the interview the next day, February 10. The discussion which followed was insightful and lengthy, 90 minutes. Ms. Opatich, a woman in her late 20's, expressed shock with information she said was completely foreign to her. She was unaware public school parents were not allowed to know if their children were considering a sex change, and counselors/teachers were referring students to Planned Parenthood for "binders" and cross sex hormones, without parent knowledge or permission.

Most people do not realize the gay community does not agree with the promotion of alternative lifestyles in K-12 public schools. In fact, many gays and lesbians disagree! Watch the interview featured below, with a gay couple. One is a retired grade school teacher of 30 years, and believes no sexuality should be taught by schools.

What is CBS Afraid of?

There was no follow up...why? Is CBS afraid Parents' Rights In Education is a real issue? Are they afraid if the public knew what was happening to our minor children at the hands of teachers and counselors, the Pride flags would be removed from classrooms? Are they afraid the interview Gallagher had with a gay couple in Newberg, who denounce the extreme focus on sexuality and gender identity in schools, will blow up their narrative? The conclusion is affirmative!

Disney's Radical Demands

March 13, Disney CEO Bob Chapek publicly condemned Florida's new Parental Rights in Education law, along with pledging $5 million to homosexual rights organizations and demanding a meeting with Gov. Ron DeSantis. 

The main provision of that new law is a prohibition on exposing children in kindergarten through the third grade to material dealing with gender identity, homosexuality, and transgenderism. Walt Disney must be rolling over in his grave that the company he founded would attack this parental rights law. 

DeSantis saved Disney from the COVID shutdowns. Chapek should be thanking DeSantis, not berating him on behalf of left-wing activists who are trying to impose their values on the rest of us.

DeSantis made it clear that he isn't backing down. In a statement, the governor's office declared, "The same Florida parents who take their families to Disney also support parental rights in education, because they do not want their young children exposed to inappropriate content about sex and gender theory at school."
