The South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA) on behalf of the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide general and/or special legal counsel for SJTPO.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) will only be available through Bid Express (www.bidexpress.com) on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, after 1:00 P.M. Electronic proposals are due Tuesday, April 12, 2022, by 2:00 P.M.
Important Note: SJTA will only accept electronic bid/proposal submissions through Bid Express electronic bidding portal. If you are not already registered for electronic submissions, please visit Bid Express (www.bidexpress.com) in order to bid with SJTA. Registration is also required to view the RFP. To subscribe, follow the directions on the website. The fee schedule is available, and all fees are payable to Bid Express.
Any emailed, mailed, or physical bids/proposals delivered to SJTA will not be accepted and/or will be returned to the bidder unopened.
SJTA, in accordance with law, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals either in whole or in part and also to waive any minor informality or non-material exceptions in any proposal or proposals so received.
Proposers are also required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 Mandatory Equal Employment Opportunity Regulations.
SJTPO, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. § 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
