The Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR) hosted two half-day online events to showcase its work in disaster risk management. Over 100 global attendees discussed the progress made toward reducing disaster vulnerability in a changing climate, and ongoing efforts to seek innovative and sustainable solutions.

Day 1 focused on resilience and climate change, along with featuring GFDRR’s work in the Caribbean, India, the Marshall Islands, Bhutan and The Gambia.

Day 2 centered on inclusive disaster risk management (DRM) and gender equality; the nexus between DRM and fragility; conflict and violence; and messages from Tonga, Indonesia, Romania and West Bank & Gaza.

Visit the GFDRR Partnership Days site for the recorded event sessions and shared knowledge products. Check out the blog about the event.
