CareersFest coming soon

Students from secondary schools across the district - including West Hatch High School - are invited to the CareersFest at New City College, Borders Lane, Debden, on Thursday, March 24.

The event runs from 3.05pm until 6.30pm.

The CareersFest is organised by the Careers Consortium (West Hatch High School, Davenant Foundation School, Debden Park High School, Epping St John's School, King Harold Academy and Roding Valley High School) and New City College.

The CareersFest is open to everyone.

Exhibitors will include The Hill Group - who are sponsoring the event - Army Careers London, Ryanair, Border Force, Essex Police, Ernst and Young, Haslers accountants, Higgins Construction, Investment 2020, Kier, KPMG, Ministry of Defence, Royal Navy, Sales Force Technology, Site Sales, Teledyne E2V, OMD Media and Cohen Davies.

Students do not need to be accompanied by parents/carers, although they are welcome to also attend.

The CareersFest is an excellent opportunity for students to speak to employers, training providers, colleges and universities.

The Hill Group will be offering a prize of a one week work experience placement.

As it is an informal event, students do not have to wear school uniform.
