My Brother Ted passed away and went to be with Jesus on February 20th. We had a wonderful celebration of his life the following week that included touching testimonies from pastors, friends and of course family members. Those in attendance heard the gospel message and Ted was remembered for the way he loved Jesus and loved others. I'm still grieving his loss as I think of him every day and miss our silly conversations. I often want to call or text and chat with him about something ... but I cant. Healthy grieving is a journey and an ongoing process that extends beyond a single event such as a memorial or graveside service. As we learn to live life without Ted, it is important to move forward in allowing new growth and new relationships to form. This reminds me of spring. Though in our hearts it still feels like winter is upon us... spring will eventually emerge. Please pray for healing with Ted's wife Ann, and his daughters Sarah and Hannah. Thank you to the many who have reached out, prayed, and cared for us during this journey.

New Teaching series on money and stewardship
Please pray for this new series, and that Airmen would begin to tithe, appropriately budget, get out of consumer debt and make other healthy adult decisions in the area of finances!

Spring ain't quite here yet!
We received 5" of fresh snow a few days ago and the mountains got well over a foot. It was fun to go snow shoeing with some of our airmen on Saturday.

Time to plant seeds!
This tomato seedling last year produced a tomato plant nearly 8 feet high with nearly 50 plump ripe tomatoes. Later today, I'll prepare the garden, though still with a little snow on it, so it can receive the seedlings in 6 weeks. What needs pruning in your life? What new things need growth?
