Did you know individuals over the age of 60 are more likely to be targeted by cybercriminals?
For the month of March in our Healthy Ageing Calendar, we are raising awareness for Cyber Safety! As part of this, we are highlighting the Cyber Safety Sessions which are provided by Allstate Northern Ireland.
This interactive training will go over common email and telephone scams relating to fraud, identity protection and general cybersecurity awareness such as password protection and privacy settings.

Tots Tea Room is a welcoming space for all parents, grandparents and carers to come along to on a Wednesday morning. We are a very relaxed, informal group who happily welcomes everyone into our group.

PV Support Programme
In 2021/22 Action Renewables will fund projects in the charity sector and in schools. This will help to reduce their environmental impact and meet their charitable objectives. In 2021/22 they will fund up to 12 projects to reduce the carbon footprint of the recipients and make a financial impact through generation/cost savings.

Live here love here: Climate Challenge Fund
The Climate Challenge Fund, which can provide a maximum of £5,000 to each applicant, forms part of the £477,000 that Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful received from the UK Community Replacement Fund to facilitate a greater local response to the threat of runaway climate change. The overall aim of the project is to (a) educate the wider community about climate change through free Carbon Literacy Programmes training, in order to (b) empower and inspire civic action that can help Northern Ireland tackle the climate emergency. Deadline 8 April 2022.

Maurice and Hilda Laing Charitable Trust
The Maurice and Hilda Laing Charitable Trust's objectives are the advancement of the Christian faith and religious education, the relief of poverty in the UK and overseas and the protection and preservation of health and relief of sickness and mental and physical disabilities. Grants Range between £5,000 and £25,000.

Danske Bank Social Responsibility
Danske Bank have Charity Partnerships, their current partner is Aware. They also have a Danske Bank Employees' Charity Group. Charities can apply to The Charities Group for a donation. The committee then looks at each application and decides which ones to support. For the Charities Group contact the secretary for more information.

Linking Generations - All Ages April 11 March 2022 12noon
A Small Grants Programme with grants of up to £150 to bring generations together to build age-friendly communities and celebrate All Ages April.  Improving intergenerational relations is an important part of building age-friendly environments and these projects will contribute to this.  

ESB Community Fund 11 March 2022 12noon
The Wind Farm Community Funds initiative was established by ESB Group with the intention of helping communities neighbouring ESB wind farms to become more sustainable through the support of positive local initiatives and activities.The initiative seeks to address current and emerging issues, needs and opportunities within communities, enriching lives and creating brighter possibilities for local residents. 

The Weavers Company Charitable Grants 17 March 2022 12 noon - applications must be posted. (next dates 14 July and 17 November)
Fund’s principal aim should be to support people in trouble, particularly young offenders and ex-offenders, as well as other disadvantaged young people.  Preference is given to pump-priming new projects, especially those that are innovative and can serve as a model elsewhere.

Building the Community Pharmacy Partnership 24 March 2022
The level two funding for a grant of up to £12,000 for a project that can last up to one year.This supports communities and community pharmacists to address locally-defined health inequalities. It welcomes joint applications from a community/voluntary organisation and a community pharmacy to work in partnership and deliver a project which addresses the social determinants of health using a community development approach. 

Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust 28 March 2022 5pm (must be registered by 11 March)
JRCT is keen to support work that responds to the dual harms of the Covid-19 pandemic and systemic racism. They want to encourage work within or across existing programme areas that scrutinises the responses and policies of powerful institutions and actors, and which envisions and builds support for transformative social change based on justice, peace and sustainability. Five themes: Peace and Security, Power and Accountability, Rights and Justice, Sustainable Future, Northern Ireland
