MARCH 2022

Presidents Message

Bush Series #1 - this Sunday 13 March at Lake Canobolas. The Start is near the Cafe
Starts are from 10.00 - 10.30 pm. This parkland and bush event is planned as a transition from street events with Easy, Easy Moderate and Hard Moderate courses along with a Scatter course of 20 controls. The event is being organised by Stephen Nugent and Fiona.

The event will be followed by the Club AGM, which should be brief.

Our next bush event will be on 3 April at Clifton Grove Bush using a new map of the area. Starts are from the corner of Ironbark Road and Brumby’s Run.

Street event #4, Brooklands, 25 February
Our fourth and final street event was well organised with interesting courses. A big thank you to Clinton Russell for planning the courses and putting out the controls.
We had 31 participants. Congratulations to Alex Slater who won the Scatter 10. Anthony Wharton had a clear win in the Scatter 15 with a close race between Matthew Slater and Rossal Wharton for 2nd and 3rd places. There was a close race between Stephen Nugent and Tom Carter in the Scatter 20. James Lithgow had a clear win in the Scatter 25.  We welcomed the Hetherington family who did well at their first event, on the Easy course.
Thank you, Clinton, for doing the registration and timing. Thanks to those who pre-entered via Eventor as this makes our job a lot simpler and for paying into Goldseekers account.
