Two weeks in Sarasota Florida and a side trip to Miami was just what the doctor ordered at the end of this looong winter! We drove around the Wynwood neighborhood in Miami which is known for its abundant public outdoor murals. We were not disappointed!

Altered Book Preview
Pictured above is one of three new pieces made for my altered books group. The images on the piece are toner transfer prints on hanji paper. The black and white images are from a botanical reference book I helped illustrate as an intern in college, and the color images are from a vintage botanical reference book I bought at the Pekar shop in the Lee Road Library in Cleveland Heights. I'll include the dates for the show at Loganberry Books in Larchmere in April's newsletter.

Proud Mom News!
After couple of years of Covid delays it so happens that both daughters' projects are coming together at nearly the same time in Cleveland!
Bedroom Culture, a play written and directed by Hannah Leach, is opening as part of Cleveland Public Theater's Test Flight program. Opening night is this Thursday March 10. Full Out, a documentary film by Audrey Leach, will be included in this year's Cleveland International Film Festival. Two pieces from my Hope series will be exhibited in "Hand to Press," a show of the Society of American Graphic Artists' (SAGA's) Regional Council members. The show opens April 9 and is open over four following weekends: April 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 12 - 5 pm or by appointment. The show will be at the SAGA Gallery located at 32 Union Square East, Suite 1214, NYC. If you find yourself in NYC during those dates stop by this little Union Square gallery and see the show!
The next Screw Factory Open House event that I will have my studio open for will take place on May 6 and 7. Details will be in April's newsletter.
