1. H Επιστολή της ΑΟΡΑ Hellas για τα 23 αεροδρόμια δημοσιεύθηκε στην εφημερίδα “ΤΟ ΒΗΜΑ”

   Με αφορμή την παράλειψη οποιασδήποτε μνείας για την προστασία της γενικής αεροπορίας στην Σύμβαση Παραχώρησης του 2017, με την οποία η Ελληνική πολιτεία παραχώρησε για εκμετάλλευση σε ιδιώτη επενδυτή (Fraport) τα 14 αεροδρόμια και προκειμένου να μην επαναληφθεί αυτό το λάθος, η ΑΟΡΑ Hellas έστειλε πρόσφατα σχετική επιστολή στον πρωθυπουργό και στους αρμόδιους υπουργούς επισημαίνοντας το θέμα.

2. Τα Ιωάννινα προβάλλουν το αεροδρόμιο της πόλης τους

   Και έχουν δίκιο, διότι διαθέτουν ένα φιλόξενο για την Γενική Αεροπορία αεροδρόμιο, με λογικές τιμές στα τέλη προσγείωσης & στάθμευσης, με καύσιμα και ύπαρξη τελωνειακής υπηρεσίας που το κάνει ιδανικό για αεροδρόμιο πρώτης εισόδου στην χώρα από το εξωτερικό. Συγχρόνως η πόλη έχει πολλά αξιοθέατα, εξαιρετική υποδομή σε ξενοδοχεία, εστιατόρια και σημαντική αγορά που την κάνει ελκυστικό τουριστικό προορισμό.

3. Οι κάρτες/ταυτότητες των μελών μας γίνονται ψηφιακές.
   
   H AOPA Hellas έχει ήδη ξεκινήσει τη διαδικασία ώστε στο προσεχές μέλλον να καταργηθούν οι πλαστικές κάρτες μελών, με τις αποστολές τους ταχυδρομικά. Οι κάρτες σύντομα, αφού κάνουμε τις απαραίτητες δοκιμές, θα εκδίδονται ψηφιακά σε μορφή ψηφιακής κάρτας που κάθε μέλος θα μπορεί εύκολα να την διαχειρίζεται από το κινητό του (Apple & Android λειτουργικά). Σε περίπτωση που κάποιος εξακολουθεί να επιθυμεί πλαστική κάρτα θα παρέχουμε και αυτήν τη δυνατότητα.

4. Η ψηφιακή εγκυκλοπαίδεια Wikipedia αναφέρθηκε στα προβλήματα της γενικής Αεροπορίας στο λήμμα της Fraport

   Πρόσφατα εντοπίσαμε ότι στο λήμμα της Fraport στη Wikipedia γίνεται αναφορά στα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζει η Γενική Αεροπορία στα 14 αεροδρόμια που διαχειρίζεται στην Ελλάδα. Η αναφορά μάλιστα, παραπέμπει σε δημοσιεύσεις της AOPA Hellas.

5. Σημαντική συνάντηση εκπροσώπων της ΑΟΡΑ Hellas & της Πανελλήνιας Ένωσης Πιλότων με τον διοικητή της νεοσυσταθείσας Αρχής Πολιτικής Αεροπορίας (ΑΠΑ)

   Αντιπροσωπεία της AOPA Hellas και της Πανελλήνιας Ένωσης Πιλότων (ΠΕΠ) είχε συνάντηση με τον Διοικητή της νεοσυσταθείσας Αρχής Πολιτικής Αεροπορίας (ΑΠΑ) Κο Τσίτουρα. Έγινε εκτενής συζήτηση τα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζει η Γενική Αεροπορία στη χώρα μας και τονίστηκε η ανάγκη για την άμεση σύσταση της Διυπουργικής Επιτροπής Αεροπορικού Τουρισμού που εξαγγέλθηκε αλλά δεν συστάθηκε ακόμα παρά την πάροδο 8 μηνών. Αυτή η επιτροπή πρέπει άμεσα να συσταθεί και να ξεκινήσει το έργο της με συμμετοχή κυρίως από τα Υπουργεία Τουρισμού και Μεταφορών. Ο Διοικητής κατάλαβε όλα τα προβλήματα, συντάχθηκε με τις απόψεις μας και δεσμεύτηκε σύντομα να βοηθήσει, σε επικοινωνία με την Κα Ζαχαράκη από το Υπουργείο Τουρισμου, για τη σύσταση της επιτροπής ώστε να ξεκινήσει το έργο της.

6. Συνέντευξη του προέδρου της ΑΟΡΑ Hellas στην ΕΡΤ

   Η Χριστίνα Βίδου και ο Κώστας Παπαχλιμίντζος από την εκπομπή «Συνδέσεις» της ΕΡΤ1 "απογειώνονται" με τον Πρόεδρο της AOPA Hellas, Κυπριανό Μπίρη και συζητούν στον...αέρα, για όλα τα θέματα που απασχολούν τη Γενική Αεροπορία και τον Αεροπορικό Τουρισμό!

7. Αναβολή της δίκης του Δ.Σ. της AOPA Hellas
   
   Αναβλήθηκε η δίκη σε β’ βαθμό στο Εφετείο των μελών του προηγούμενου Δ.Σ. της AOPA Hellas για τις 15 Απριλίου 2022. Η υπόθεση ξεκίνησε το 2015 με τη μήνυση που υπέβαλε εναντίον τους υπάλληλος της ΥΠΑ, διότι, όπως ισχυρίζεται, υπήρξε θύμα συκοφαντικής δυσφήμησης από δυσμενές σχόλιο που δημοσιεύτηκε στο ΗΔΕ με αφορμή το “έντυπο 731”. Είναι λυπηρό, και δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά, (εκκρεμεί στα δικαστήρια παρόμοια υπόθεση της Νάξου), που υπάλληλος της ΥΠΑ επιδεικνύει ιδιαίτερη αυστηρότητα κάνοντας μήνυση σε μέλη της AOPA. Στη συγκεκριμένη περίπτωση, η μήνυση υποβλήθηκε για μία έντονη κριτική που έγινε για το αχρείαστο και πρωτάκουστο στα παγκόσμια χρονικά της Γενικής Αεροπορίας, “έντυπο 731”. Δεν υπήρχε λόγος για τέτοια αυστηρή αντιμετώπιση της κριτικής που έφτασε στην υποβολή μήνυσης για συκοφαντική δυσφήμηση της αρμόδιας υπαλλήλου της ΥΠΑ. Αποτέλεσμα της μήνυσης είναι να σύρονται στα δικαστήρια σαν κατηγορούμενοι τα μέλη του τότε Δ.Σ. που δεν είχαν πρόθεση να συκοφαντήσουν ή να προσβάλουν οποιονδήποτε, αλλά απλά να εκφράσουν την άποψη τους για το ζήτημα και να ενημερώσουν τα μέλη της AOPA. H AOPA Hellas δεν έχει, ούτε επιδιώκει να έχει εχθρούς ή αντιδικίες με οποιονδήποτε, αλλά θέλει μόνο φίλους και συμμάχους στον αγώνα που δίνει για τη βελτίωση της Γενικής Αεροπορίας και τη διάδοση του αεροπορικού πνεύματος στη χώρα μας.

H AOPA Hellas, προσπαθεί και αγωνίζεται με σκοπό να ξεπεραστούν τα εμπόδια που έχουν οδηγήσει την Γενική Αεροπορία στην χώρα μας να κατέχει μία από τις τελευταίες θέσεις στην Ευρώπη. Κανείς δεν περισσεύει σε αυτή την προσπάθεια. Αν δεν είσαι ταμειακά ενήμερο μέλος, σε καλούμε να ξαναγίνεις ενεργό μέλος μας γιατί έτσι βοηθάς κι εσύ την προσπάθεια μας. Όσο περισσότεροι είμαστε, τόσο πιο δυνατή είναι η φωνή μας.

1. Letter of AOPA Hellas for the privatization of 23 airports was published in “TO VIMA” newspaper
   February 6th, 2022
   
   On the occasion of the omission of any mention of the protection of General Aviation in the Concession Agreement of 2017, with which the Greek state granted for exploitation to a private investor (Fraport) the 14 airports and in order not to repeat this mistake, AOPA Hellas recently sent a letter to the Prime Minister and the relevant ministers highlighting the issue.

2. Ioannina city promote their Airport
   February 8th, 2022
   
   And they are right, because they have a welcoming airport for General Aviation, with reasonable prices on landing & parking fees, with fuel and the existence of a customs service that makes it ideal for an airport of first entry into the country. At the same time the city has many attractions, excellent infrastructure in hotels, restaurants and an important market that makes it an attractive tourist destination.

3. The cards / IDs of our members become digital.
   
   AOPA Hellas has already started the process to abolish plastic membership cards in the near future, by sending them by post. The cards will soon, after we do the necessary tests, be issued digitally in the form of a digital card that each member will be able to easily manage from his mobile phone (Apple & Android operating system). In case someone still wants a plastic card, we will provide this option as well.
   
    

4. The digital encyclopedia Wikipedia referred to the problems of General Aviation in the Fraport entry

   We recently found out that the Fraport entry in Wikipedia refers to the problems faced by General Aviation at the 14 airports Fraport manages in Greece. The report, in fact, refers to publications of AOPA Hellas.

5. Important meeting of representatives of AOPA Hellas & the Hellenic Pilots Association with the commander of the newly established Civil Aviation Authority (APA)
   February 22nd, 2022
   
   A delegation of AOPA Hellas and the Hellenic Pilots Association (HPA) had a meeting with the Commander of the newly established Civil Aviation Authority (APA) Mr. Tsitouras. There was an extensive discussion on the problems faced by General Aviation in our country and the need for the immediate establishment of the Interministerial Aviation Tourism Committee that was announced but not yet established despite the passage of 8 months. This committee should be set up immediately and start its work with the participation mainly of the Ministries of Tourism and Transport. The Commander understood all the problems, agreed with our views and promised to help soon, in contact with Ms. Zacharaki from the Ministry of Tourism, to set up the committee.

7. Postponement of the trial of the Board of Directors of AOPA Hellas
   
   The trial in the second degree at the Court of Appeal, of the members of the previous Board of Directors of AOPA Hellas, was postponed for April 15, 2022. The case started in 2015 with a lawsuit filed against them by an employee of the CAA, because, as she claims, that she was the victim of defamation by an unfavorable comment published on the e-News report, regarding the "form 731". It is sad, and it is not the first time (a similar case is pending in the courts of Naxos), that an employee of the CAA shows particular rigor by suing AOPA members. In this case, the lawsuit was filed for a strong criticism of the unnecessary and unheard of in the history of the General Aviation, "form 731". There was no reason for such a harsh treatment of the criticism that reached the point of filing a lawsuit for defamation of the competent employee of the CAA. The result of the lawsuit is that the members of the previous Board of Directors, who had no intention of slandering or insulting anyone, but simply expressing their views on the matter and informing AOPA members, are dragged to the courts as defendants. AOPA Hellas does not have, nor does it seek to have enemies or disputes with anyone, but only wants friends and allies in the fight for the improvement of the General Aviation in our country.

AOPA Hellas is fighting in order to overcome the obstacles that have led General Aviation in our country to hold one of the last positions in Europe. No one is spared in this endeavor.
