Hi everyone, happy Wednesday. This week we're very excited because the new Distress colour by Tim Holtz has been released. Read on to find out about that, and also the Distress Retractable Blending Brushes which are great for ink blending. We've also got alphabet stamps and dies, and Texture Paste for using on backgrounds and stencils.

The newest colour in the Distress range, Saltwater Taffy, is a beautiful peachy pink. If fills a gap in the range and blends well with the warmer pinks like Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral. You can watch a video of Tim Holtz introducing the colour here.

Distress Retractable Blending Brushes
|
|
The Distress Retractable Blending Brushes are great for ink blending. The metal collar on the brush slides up and down which helps protect the bristles and keep them from bending. It also means you can vary the softness of your brush to alter the effect. With the collar fully extended the tip of the brush is very firm, so it's ideal for stencils.

We have some new alphabet stamps and dies, they are on the tiny side so perfect for small projects.

Texture Paste is great for adding depth and texture to your work. Apply it with a palette knife, allow to dry, and add colour with paints and inks. Or use a reinker to tint the paste while wet. Great for applying through stencils with a palette knife.

Fold Up Dress Stamp and Kit
|
|
This stamp will create a 3D dress when cut out and folded. Stamp the dress out, colour it in, then cut and fold the skirt. Glue the bodice over the skirt and embellish with pearls, rhinestones, lace and buttons. Or stamp the dress on patterned paper to create the vintage dress of your dreams!
