Sustainability Has Never Been So Easy...
Or So Fun

April 17-23 is Nebraska Public Transportation Week. This is a great opportunity to celebrate and support public transportation in our community through exploring your local options. Connect your BikeLNK ride to a public transportation option and reinvent your daily commute and weekly errands.

Not only does public transportation provide access to the city and increase transportation equity for individuals from all walks of life, but it is a valuable pathway to improving the overall sustainability of our city traffic networks. It is also easy to pair with other transportation options.

Multimodal transportation reduces our carbon footprint and reduces traffic congestion - all while saving you money! It is estimated that the average household spends 18 cents of every dollar on transportation, and 96% of that goes to the purchase, maintenance and operation of personal vehicles.

Checkout these great City of Lincoln resources to get the most out of this incredible week and to refresh your daily routine:
And want to learn more about multimodal transportation? The Pedestrian & Bicycle Information Center has you covered!

Leave your car behind for the week and experience the convenience of all Lincoln's transportation options. There's a
BikeLNK classic or pedal-assist bike ready to help get you to wherever your destination may be!
