Community QPR Virtual Training- Wed, March 16th at 12:00pm-1:30pm

QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) which is a suicide prevention 101 training. This is a practical and empowering course that teaches what you need to know to prevent suicide in your personal and professional life.
During this training we discuss statistics related to suicide both nationally and locally, warning signs and risk factors/behavioral and situational clues, how to ask directly about suicide and appropriately connect to local resources.

Save the date: Sunday, April 3rd, 7pm in downtown Fort Collins for a drag show you won’t want to miss! All the parts you love about drag alongside the heart, compassion, and vulnerability of engaging in conversations about LGBTQ+ mental health.

So many of us are affected directly or indirectly by suicide & mental health struggles, especially in the LGBTQ+ community. Join us and our wonderful performers as they share their own experiences around mental health, dazzle you, wow you, and bring it all home again so we can learn, grow, and support each other in community. Come be human with us.

Join us the following day, Monday, April 4th at 6pm at Fort Collins Donut Company (215 N College Ave) for suicide prevention training geared towards the LGBTQ+ young adult community to learn & practice tangible skills for supporting your friends, loved ones, and chosen family experiencing suicidality.

Date: Tuesday, April 12th, 2022
Time: Check-In 830AM, Summit 9AM - 330PM
Location: The Ranch - South Exhibition Hall, 5280 Arena Cir., Loveland, CO 80538

We will gather stakeholders and community members together to discuss what is going well around mental and emotional wellbeing & suicide prevention across the lifespan in Larimer, identify gaps, come up with creative solutions, and dream big! We will look at how far we have come since 2017, and then collectively put our heads together to define our next steps as a community.

Connect with Intention will be an interactive community conversation that will include a large group training, breakout sessions, and time for networking and collaboration between agencies and individuals.

In celebration of Women's History Month, Queen of Empire(s.o.m.) LLC. is premiering a transformative speech to build your capacity for activism. Discover how you can leverage your privilege to understand your whiteness, support Black Leadership and contribute to healthy community relationships.

Wisdom of Trauma film screening with Yarrow Collective at The Lyric Cinema on March 31st, 6pm. Following the film, we will host a panel discussion to explore themes from the film, harm reduction approaches, healing justice perspectives, and what it all means for Larimer County communities. Get your free tickets here. Yarrow Collective is hosting another peer support group Alternatives to Suicide facilitator training!  Alt2Su is a non-medical, peer-run approach to creating space for people struggling with suicidality to explore what might make life more livable. For the three-day training in May, we are prioritizing seats for BIPOC community members. Click here to learn more about the training and to register
The Aspire 3D Kite Festival will be held on Saturday May 21st from 10am-3pm at the Loveland Sports Park. This FREE event is open to all ages of the public and will include live entertainment (sponsored by the Bohemian Foundation), interactive programs, kite design and flying workshops, professional demonstrations and a variety of activities to inspire all generations!
