Happy Women's History Month! 

To celebrate all month we will be highlighting Women Ecologists on our twitter @ESA_Scicomm. If you are a Woman Ecologist and would to be highlighted, you can fill out the interview form below.

We are also still recruiting two new team members, a Science Communication Intern and a Website Manager, to help serve our mission of empowering ecologists to communicate science in compelling and innovative ways. 

Website manager:
This position will help to maintain and regularly update our website with current chapter news, notices, and events. Responsibilities include:

  • Updating, troubleshooting, and maintaining the C&E website
  • Optimizing website flow and design
  • Assisting in even brainstorming and execution 
  • Attending Monthly Meetings
Science Communication Intern:
This is a 6-month position that will use social media to engage with broad audiences through posts, events, and interviews. Responsibilities include:
  • Expanding ESA’s C&E presence on social media
  •  Regularly writing, editing, and posting content across platforms (i.e., Twitter and Instagram)
  • Helping gather resources for the Monthly Newsletter
  • Help to brainstorm and execute events
  • Attends Biweekly Meetings
