Please join the Web Committee to:

• Guide future improvements to the SIA Website
• Research and author any needed updates to SIA's Web Guidelines
• Research, guide and author SIA's Digital Privacy and Cookie Policy
• Improve Digital Communication and Outreach to newcomers, groups and members.

If you'd like to help with any or all of these areas email the Web Chair !!

Service Opportunities

~SERVICE KEEPS US SOBER~

Treatment Facilities Committee needs help bringing the AA message into hospitals & institutions

 

• we meet virtually once a month - check the SIA Event Calendar for details
• we have many opportunities for AA members to chair or speak at treatment facilities - check the Open Commitments list and see what's available
• you can volunteer for upcoming commitments with our handy Sign-Up Form
• we are also looking for donations of gently used books

SIA Hotline

The AA Hotline needs you and especially your group to sign up to answer the phones.

Your group does not need to take all 14 shifts in the week. We can help find another group to share the week or fill in any gaps in the coverage. We are also looking for individual volunteers.

You do not need a physical Hotline Book to work the hotline — there is an online version available here. If you or your group do need (a) physical book(s), they can be picked up at the SIA Office or other pick-up / drop-off arrangements can be made.

The shifts run from 8am to 8pm starting on Sundays.

Be the hand of AA extended to a newcomer, or any alcoholic still suffering who reaches out for help.
