Coronavirus (Covid-19) Equality Concerns

Coronavirus Update and Support:

From 01 to 07 March 2022, there have been a total of 4,058 cases in Fife. In total there have been 103,666 cases in Fife to date.

Fife Women's Tent:

The Fife Women's Tent is excited to announce they were successful in securing funding from the Fife Community Mental Health and Wellbeing fund

This funding will be used to support members to plan and deliver three inclusive events to enhance physical, emotional and mental health wellbeing for women who live, work and study in Fife.

Equality Collective:

A big thank you to everyone who joined us at our Let's Plan Transport event! We were pleased to reconnect with members and looking forward to keeping involved in the future of the local transport stategy in Fife

Minority Ethnic 60+ Project:

Our Minority Ethnic 60+ Project team have been working hard to support clients and share vital information! 

The project has also successfully been awarded funding for the Fife Community Mental Health and Wellbeing fund. This funding will enable us to create a new befriending service to reduce social isolation and further assist older people from minority ethnic communities.

We are recruiting!

We are recruiting a part-time Operational Officer (14 hours per week) who can develop and deliver the necessary policies, procedures, and training for setting up a brand-new befriending service especially for minority ethnic older people living in Fife for our Minority Ethnic 60+ Project.

Specific funding has been secured for the delivery of this exciting initiative and the position is fixed term until end of July 2022. The closing date for applications: Friday 25 March 2022

ScotGEM Student Placement Survey - Accessing GP Services:

Our placement students from the University of St. Andrews are looking to learn more about your experiences of accessing GP services throughout lockdown.

This research will help further their understanding of the different barriers and concerns facing those trying to access crucial support, as well as what needs to be done to eliminate these for the future.
